Job summary

IMEG is hiring an Electrical Project Engineer in Urbandale, IA to lead design efforts for electrical systems on building projects. You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with cross-functional teams through design, bidding, and construction administration.

You will apply knowledge of codes and IMEG standards, work with clients to capture requirements, and ensure on-time project delivery with a focus on energy-efficient designs aligned with industry practices.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience; 4+ preferred in building design consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for low to moderate complexity projects.
• Analyze systems and develop designs, calculations, and specifications.
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
