Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to lead design efforts for a range of building projects. The role emphasizes analysis, design, and oversight with client interaction and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

You will contribute to budgeting, scheduling, and quality control while advancing your technical skills and mentoring others in a supportive, ESOP-owned firm culture.

Qualifications

• A BS in Civil/Structural/Architectural Eng is required.
• PE license preferred; 2+ years in building design; 4 years preferred.
• Experience with design of structural systems and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of structural systems for buildings and structures.
• Create designs, specifications and calculations per IMEG standards.
• Coordinate with clients to understand needs and communicate technical info.
• Lead budgeting, scheduling, and project planning efforts.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress to ensure quality.
• Mentor junior staff and review work with senior engineers.
