Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our nuclear-focused team in a hybrid role. You will work with a team of structural engineers on projects for new nuclear facilities and plant upgrades, applying your expertise in materials, design, and codes.

The role offers a path to leadership, travel for design reviews, and collaboration across disciplines in a safety-critical environment.

Qualifications

• MS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience on a project team in design and analysis of structures.
• Proficiency with SAP2000, STRUDL, SASSI, ANSYS, or LS-DYNA and relevant design codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, develop specifications, and support drawing development.
• Collaborate with a team of structural engineers and interface with other disciplines.
• Guide others in engineering deliverables and review processes.
• Travel to client/vendor offices or plant sites for design reviews and field verification when needed.
