Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Pricing/Financial Analyst to support revenue generation by analyzing historical data, advising on profitable rate structures, and preparing proposals in response to client RFPs. You will work with firm partners, Pricing leadership, BD, Marketing, Legal Project Management, Billing Operations and Staff Leadership to build robust pricing models.

You will develop pricing proposals, identify renewal opportunities, mentor Pricing Analysts, and analyze matters for drivers of fee

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong problem solving, planning and organizational abilities.
• Experience with pricing, billing or financial analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop rate proposals, fee estimates and pricing options for client RFPs.
• Identify rate renewal opportunities and obtain approvals.
• Mentor Pricing Analysts and develop pricing models for profitability.
• Analyze historical matters to identify drivers of fee magnitude.
• Support pricing systems, budgeting templates and billing rate renewals.
• Ensure pricing arrangements are captured in the billing system.
• Communicate progress, risks and wins to Pricing Leadership.
• Contribute to special projects aligned with firm strategies.
