Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) seeks an experienced Account Management professional for a hybrid role in Houston, TX. You will support Sales and Account Management, prospect, acquire or renew business, and mentor team members on complex projects.

Responsibilities include managing hospital accounts, identifying client needs, building strong relationships, analyzing utilization, and coordinating across divisions to deliver solutions. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 4+ years in Account Management, Insurance/Sales or Health Care.
• Or 8+ years in Account Management, Insurance/Sales or Health Care.
• State General Lines Agent license or able to obtain within 90 days of starting in role.

Responsibilities

• Manage a block of existing accounts to meet retention targets.
• Identify customer insurance and service needs and meet those needs.
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with existing accounts.
• Act as liaison between the company and other principals to resolve inquiries.
• Analyze utilization reports to determine best product mix for clients.
• Work with internal teams to provide answers and service to customers.
• Maintain knowledge of HCSC products and competitor trends.
• Assist with enrollment sessions and client meetings.
