Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires State General Agent Insurance License or ability to obtain within 90 days of start.
• Bachelor degree and 1 year health insurance/health care service/sales experience or 3 years in similar field.
• Strong organizational and project implementation abilities, plus customer service and presentation skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication with internal and external contacts.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and sales systems.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales or Account Management in prospecting, acquiring or renewing business.
• Research inquiries from customers or company representatives.
• Coordinate research through internal contacts and bring issues to Sales/Account Management.
• Respond to customers or company representatives and coordinate meetings.
• Gather data, create/maintain databases and prepare enrollment materials.
• Develop relationships with customer representatives and summarize utilization reports.
• Answer questions on benefits and options and maintain licenses as needed.
