Health Care Service Corp. (HCSC) has a hybrid, Austin-based opportunity supporting Account Management’s renewals and client service efforts.

The role will be onsite three days per week and remote two days per week, serving Austin ISD employees and collaborating across the enterprise. The position requires a Texas Life/Health license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days), a Bachelor’s or Associate degree, and a background in health insurance or health care service/sales.

Qualifications

• Must have State General Agent Insurance License or obtain State General Agent Insurance License within 90 days of starting in the role
• Bachelor Degree and 1 year of experience in health insurance/health care field in a service/sales/marketing position involving initiative and decision-making OR 3 years of experience in health insurance/health care field in a service/sales/marketing position involving initiative and decision-making
• Organizational and project implementation skills, phone customer service skills, presentation skills
• Verbal and written communications skills to interact to interact with internal and external contacts
• PC proficiency to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint. and sales system
• Willingness and ability for occasional travel
• Associate or Bachelor Degree Preferred

Responsabilités

• Support Account Executives to renew clients within assigned book of business
• Develop relationships with clients and brokers/consultants
• Research inquiries received from clients & brokers/consultants
• Coordinate research through internal contacts and operational teams
• Respond with updates and resolution; coordinate meetings and materials
• Attend client meetings, health fairs and enrollment meetings as required
• Gather data and maintain databases
• Research and prepare utilization reports. Analyze results
• Respond to questions from prospects regarding benefit information and options
• Obtain and maintain Texas Life/Health license
• May include travel to client meetings, health fairs and enrollment meetings Required
