Job summary

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing service-based company in the San Diego area, for a Service Coordinator to join their operations team. This role centers on being the hub between customers, field technicians, and internal teams, ensuring daily service operations run smoothly and efficiently.

In this hybrid role, you will manage incoming requests by phone and scheduling software, dispatch technicians, and confirm that every job is completed on time and to the customer's

Qualifications

• 2+ years in scheduling, dispatch, or customer service coordination.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling or CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers scheduling service appointments.
• Coordinate and dispatch field technicians based on location, skill set, and availability.
• Monitor daily schedules and adjust routing in response to delays, cancellations, or emergencies.
• Communicate appointment windows, updates, and delays to customers proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, work orders, and customer accounts in the CRM.
• Follow up with customers after service visits to confirm satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with billing and inventory teams to ensure parts and invoicing are processed correctly.
• Escalate complex customer concerns to management when needed.
• Support onboarding of new technicians by sharing scheduling and process guidelines.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on service volume and technician performance.
