Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston's Outpatient Neurology department seeks an administrative/clinical support specialist to help with scheduling, check-in/out, patient billing, and records management. This role supports smooth clinic operations and coordination with physicians and staff.

This full-time, hybrid position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, on-site at 165 Cambridge Street, and a 40-hour workweek with a starting pay rate of about $22/hour plus potential increases based on experience,

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience: 3-5 years of office experience.
• Strong technology and MS Office skills are required.
• Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine administrative and clerical duties in a clinical service or physician practice.
• Make patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
• Assist callers with routine inquiries and schedule appointments.
• Process patient billing forms and scan documents to patient medical record/LMR.
• Act as 'Super User' for scheduling, registration and billing systems.
• Provide guidance to other staff and oversee daily activities with supervision.
