Job summary

Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC) seeks a Senior Manager of HR Operations to lead HR operations across Biomedical Graduate Education. This hybrid role collaborates with University HR, Office of Faculty & Academic Affairs, and BGE leadership to align employment processes, data management, compliance, and payroll with institutional policies.

The position reports to the Director of HR for GUMC and requires substantial experience in HR operations, HRIS/HCM systems, and policy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field.
• 8–10 years progressive HR operations experience.
• Experience supporting complex organizations with multiple employee populations.
• Knowledge of HR operations, employment regulations, HRIS/HCM systems, payroll coordination.
• Ability to develop standard operating procedures, training best practices, and data reporting.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.
