The George Washington University is seeking an HR Manager within HRMD to partner with campus clients for HR solutions. You will lead recruitment, compensation guidance, employee relations, and organizational development initiatives across schools and units.

Reporting to the Director, HR, you will optimize processes, ensure compliance with AA obligations, and contribute to a diverse, high-performing workforce. Hybrid work is available, with on-site responsibilities in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area plus 3 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master’s degree in a relevant area of study plus 1 year of relevant experience.
• Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.
• Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of general HR policies, recruitment techniques, and employee relations is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide recruitment support to schools/divisions and maintain position descriptions.
• Review classifications and exemption status; advise on fair pay in line with policy.
• Manage employee relations matters, ADA accommodations, and documentation.
• Coordinate with HRIS, benefits, and performance management processes.
• Support orientation, training initiatives, and organizational development activities.
