Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in the United States to lead the Snowflake data warehouse, design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, and partner with external consultants during implementation. The role focuses on data quality, governance, and enabling BI and analytics initiatives across business units.

You will own the backend data environment, translate business requirements into scalable data solutions, and help drive AI-ready data infrastructure in a growing data modernization program.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, optimization, and ongoing management of the Snowflake data warehouse environment.
• Partner with external consultants during implementation and transition into primary technical ownership of the platform.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data integrations, and transformations using SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools.
• Improve data integrity, consistency, and governance across multiple business systems and departments.
• Collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Support data architecture, modeling, documentation, and integration with BI platforms such as Domo.
• Help establish data engineering best practices and support future analytics and AI initiatives.
