Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture is seeking a Senior Compensation Partner to collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, Finance, and Talent Acquisition to develop market-informed, internally equitable compensation solutions. The role is hybrid, with two on-site days per week in Manchester, CT, and three days remote.

The ideal candidate has extensive compensation expertise, advanced Excel skills, and experience with Workday or similar HRIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation, total rewards, HR analytics, or related HR discipline.
• Knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation, market pricing, salary structure administration, incentive plan design, and pay governance.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience consulting with HR partners and leaders on compensation decisions and people-related business issues.
• Knowledge of FLSA and pay transparency regulations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business groups to provide practical, market-informed compensation guidance.
• Use compensation surveys and benchmarks to develop data-driven base pay, incentives, and actions.
• Evaluate roles for appropriate job leveling and pay governance.
• Support annual compensation planning, salary structure administration, and merit planning.
• Analyze pay equity, turnover, and workforce metrics to identify risks and actions.
• Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and leaders on compensation decisions.
• Design and improve compensation programs, processes, and communications.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
