Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a Senior Overhead Distribution/Transmission Line Project Engineer to lead design and delivery of 46 kV–138 kV projects across multiple US offices. Hybrid work with occasional travel supports a growing power delivery practice.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with clients, and ensure projects meet quality and safety standards while advancing technical capabilities in transmission line engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 7–10 years of relevant post-education experience in electrical engineering for transmission and distribution projects.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Knowledge of NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor project teams on distribution/transmission projects up to 138 kV.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; facilitate meetings with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and adherence to safety standards.
• Travel to client offices or field locations as needed.
• Stay current with electrical engineering practices and codes.
