Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Overhead Distribution/Transmission Line Project Engineer for the West Region.

This hybrid position supports multiple offices including Denver, CO, with travel to client sites as needed. You will provide technical leadership on 46 kV–138 kV overhead projects, mentor staff, coordinate scope, schedule, and budget, and collaborate with the Power Delivery team to deliver safe, economical designs.

Qualifications

• Lead and mentor project teams on overhead distribution/transmission projects up to 138 kV.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to develop scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide technical leadership and reviews to ensure quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute engineering of distribution/transmission projects up to 138 kV.
• Develop initial project execution layouts for efficient plans.
• Maintain and track project schedules and deliverables.
• Coordinate meetings with clients and project team members.
• Mentor staff on design, procurement, and construction activities.
• Travel to client offices or field sites as needed.
• Stay current with electrical engineering practices and industry standards.
• Uphold WSP Code of Conduct and safety policies.
