WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Overhead Distribution/Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our West Region. This hybrid role supports offices across multiple states, with occasional travel to client sites.

You will guide design and delivery of 46–138 kV projects, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence. The successful candidate will lead multi-disciplinary teams, stay current with electrical engineering practices, and uphold WSP’s

Responsabilidades

• Lead and execute the engineering of distribution/transmission projects up to 138kV
• Lead and/or support the initial project execution layout to ensure an efficient and effective project plan
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a project schedule
• Conduct weekly or bi-weekly project meetings to outline upcoming deliverables and tasks with the responsible personnel identified clearly
• Coordinate with internal and external clients on project status and support project meetings as necessary
• Maintain project workflow and thorough communication across multi-disciplinary projects, both internal and external to WSP
• Forecast upcoming project requirements to assist in resource planning
• Facilitate and adhere to WSP’s QA/QC procedures
• Provide mentorship on PLS-CADD, structure staking, foundations, assembly drawings, structure loading, material procurement, construction specifications, construction methods, construction estimates, and construction support
• Lead project teams of varying sizes
• Travel to client offices or field visits as needed
• Remain current in latest electrical engineering techniques and practices
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
