Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Overhead Distribution/Transmission Line Project Engineer to lead projects up to 138 kV across multiple West Region offices, including Boise, ID.

The role blends engineering leadership, mentorship, client coordination, and QA/QC adherence, with occasional travel. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of post-education electrical engineering experience, an engineering license, and proficiency in PLS-CADD, AutoCAD/MicroStation, and ArcGIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• 7–10 years post-education experience in electrical engineering for transmission and distribution projects.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Knowledge of NESC, RUS, and GO-95; strong understanding of power delivery engineering and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of distribution/transmission projects up to 138 kV.
• Develop project layouts, schedules, and resource planning.
• Mentor junior staff and lead project teams; coordinate with clients.
• Ensure QA/QC and safety standards are followed across projects.
