Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Sales Development Representative in Kansas City, MO. You will proactively make outbound calls, identify customer needs, quote and convert opportunities, and collaborate with branch teams to grow volume across assigned accounts.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of sales experience; you will manage CRM, leverage LinkedIn and Microsoft Office tools, and train customers on Ecommerce capabilities to simplify doing business with Motion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of related sales experience preferred.
• Proven ability to proactively generate and develop sales opportunities.
• Ability to quote, convert and collaborate with branch teams to expand sales.

Responsibilities

• Proactively makes outbound calls with assigned existing account base across multiple branch locations.
• Engages decision makers to expand volume by identifying needs and added-on sales.
• Partners with customer service, order entry, and CRM to ensure accurate follow-ups and quotes.
• Presents Ecommerce capabilities to customers and trains them to simplify buying from Motion.
• Diligently updates CRM with current account activity and opportunities.
