Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is expanding its Sales Development team in Austin, TX. As an SDR, you will proactively identify, nurture, and create new opportunities, focusing on the quality of interactions over the quantity of calls you make.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing and partners, use Salesforce and Outreach to research accounts, craft messaging, and communicate our value to a technical audience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of SaaS sales experience.
• Willing to be in the Austin, TX office 3 days a week.
• Open to feedback, genuinely curious and constantly learning.
• Genuine love of technology and ability to communicate complex concepts.
• Not afraid to pick up the phone and engage prospects.
• Hitting monthly targets with discipline, creativity and passion.
• Desire to be part of something bigger than yourself.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, marketing and our partner team to develop new strategies to build our sales pipeline and grow our business
• Balance reactive work with proactive outreach to identify new opportunities
• Use Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn, and other prospecting tools to research accounts and craft targeted messaging
• Learn our technology and communicate our value proposition to a technical audience
