Stormont Vail HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Patient Service Associate to support providers and patients by handling high volumes of calls, paging urgent requests, and coordinating transfers from referring physicians.

This non-clinical role requires excellent communication, accurate data entry, and strong teamwork to ensure timely patient care, discharge follow-ups, and registration activities across Stormont Vail Health.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2 years healthcare experience preferred.
• 2 years customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate protocols regarding transfer and trauma calls.

Responsabilités

• Paging of critical time-sensitive needs and all patient care requests.
• Coordinate transfers from referring physicians into Stormont Vail Health.
• Schedule hospital discharge follow-up appointments for patients discharged from Stormont Vail Health.
• Register clients for classes/events and maintain the transfer module and SharePoint entries.
• Review demographic information and enter patient information/chief concerns for after-hours triage.
• Answer incoming calls, reschedule appointments, and direct calls to appropriate staff.
