Job summary

IKEA is seeking a service-focused professional to handle inbound customer calls, listen carefully to enquiries, and provide clear, practical support. You’ll guide customers through technical issues and resolve issues with diplomacy and efficiency.

Based near Sheffield RCMP, the role moves to a hybrid pattern after training, working from home 4 days and 1 day in the office. The position operates 39 hours weekly, including late evenings and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience working directly with customers/service users.
• Ability to build rapport with customers, understand their needs and communicate across channels.
• Maintain professionalism and focus during times of stress.
• Experience using IT tools with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to resolve a variety of issues and ensure a positive experience.
• Meet contact centre standards, KPIs, and service levels for effective support.
• Receive ongoing coaching to improve skills and consistently delight customers.
• Work with Microsoft Office 365, Customer Resolution Management and delivery systems.
