Job summary

AWD online is seeking an IT Support Engineer / Service Desk Analyst to join a friendly managed-service team supporting UK clients. You will resolve day-to-day IT issues and maintain high service standards across Windows Desktop, MS 365 and Active Directory, handling tickets and customer communications.

The role balances remote support with on-site visits where required, offering 25 days holiday, training opportunities, wellbeing support, and free onsite parking. Hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows Desktop, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products.
• Experience using a ticketing system.
• Basic understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, firewalls, routers and switches.
• Clear communication skills with a team-focused approach and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries by phone and ticketing system, manage multiple tickets and SLAs.
• Provide first-line remote technical support and escalate issues where needed.
• Manage installations, user account changes and updates.
• Perform daily and weekly security, system health and backup checks.
• Contribute to knowledge-base improvements and customer guidance.
• Support projects with project engineers and provide user training.
