Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to oversee an assigned book, retain clients, and support new business. The role combines day-to-day admin, client communication, and policy analysis in a hybrid/remote setting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain policy expirations and renewals; conduct client research and prepare submissions.
• Negotiate coverages and present proposals; monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms; ensure data accuracy.
