Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee a book of business, ensuring retention and assisting with new opportunities. The role requires coordinating client service, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with active P&C licensing; CIC or equivalent designation is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Active property & casualty licensing is required; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Renewals: research clients, submit, negotiate coverages, present proposals
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms with data accuracy
