Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and support growth. The role combines client service, policy administration, renewals, and collaboration with underwriters and carriers.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, plus active P&C license (CIC preferred). Hybrid or remote options are available for suitable time zones in the Eastern/Central regions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty licensing; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Renewals: research, submissions, coverages, and proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
