Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, ensure retention, and support new opportunities. You’ll coordinate daily admin tasks, resolve complex client issues, and ensure flawless policy administration and billing.

The role requires 3–5 years in account management, an active P&C license (CIC preferred), and strong communication with clients. IOA offers competitive pay, health insurance, 401K, and growth opportunities.

Formación

• 3–5 years of account management experience in insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty (P&C) license; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Manage an assigned book of business to retain accounts and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues with accuracy and timely follow-through.
• Maintain policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor expirations and renewals; prepare renewal submissions.
• Negotiate coverages and present proposals to clients.
• Track delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely activity in systems.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service and anticipate client needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement and uphold IOA values.
