Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines. This hybrid role supports an assigned book, retains existing clients, and handles day-to-day account activities. Remote work is available for eligible Eastern/Central Time Zone applicants.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing required; CIC designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues with no errors or omissions.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team and ensure timely work completion.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims processing, and coverage analyses.
• Renewal submissions: conduct client research, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances when needed.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms for data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status and issues clearly with the team.
