Job summary

Terrestris seeks a Junior RM Specialist to support the US Capitol Police IRMD program in Washington, DC. The role involves operational and analytical RM tasks under RM leadership, with on-site work and limited telework after an acclimation period.

You will collect inventory data, assist lifecycle activities, prepare communications, maintain RL listings, and help with RM planning, assessments, and reports while coordinating training and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of records management and execution experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze records data and identify issues.

Responsibilities

• Support department-wide records inventories by collecting, validating, and organizing inventory data from program offices and records liaisons.
• Assist with records lifecycle activities, including transfers, disposal guidance, and destruction list reviews per retention schedules.
• Prepare and distribute routine RM communications, including newsletters and informational materials for records liaisons and staff.
• Maintain and update Records Liaison listings and supporting documentation.
• Participate in RM planning meetings, document minutes, and track follow-up actions.
• Support RM assessments and surveys by gathering data and preparing summary reports.
• Assist with training coordination for records liaisons and program staff.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and data-oriented materials related to RM and OIS program activities.
• Provide general business analysis support to OIS and RM programs, including documentation and presentation development.
