Job summary

BAILEY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, LLC (BIT, LLC) is seeking a Junior Records Management Specialist to provide operational and analytical support to USCP's Records Management program. You will work under RM leadership to execute day-to-day RM activities, data collection, reporting, and coordination across program offices.

Role requires an Associate's degree, a minimum of 3 years in records management, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of records management and execution experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze records data, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in records management analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support RM inventories by collecting, validating, and organizing inventory data from program offices and records liaisons.
• Assist with records lifecycle activities, including transfers, disposal guidance, and destruction reviews per retention schedules.
• Prepare and distribute routine RM communications, including newsletters and informational materials for records liaisons and staff.
• Maintain and update Records Liaison listings and supporting documentation.
• Participate in RM planning meetings, document minutes, and track follow-up actions.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and data-oriented materials related to RM and OIS program activities.
