Job summary

DLR Group, an integrated design firm, seeks a Proposal Manager, Justice+Civic, to lead pursuits with the marketing team. Hybrid model combines office and remote work, with responsibilities spanning SOV, RFP responses, and interview prep.

You will guide cross-functional teams, ensure brand voice, and drive win strategies across complex public/private opportunities. The role requires a marketing or related degree and 5+ years of proposal experience, with proficiency in InDesign, PowerPoint, Teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience creating, writing, and editing proposals.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign; proficiency in Microsoft Suite; familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint (preferred).
• Eligibility to work in the United States without needing a visa.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pursuit process and production of brand-standard deliverables (SOs, RFP responses, interviews) from receipt to completion.
• Inspire a multidisciplinary pursuit team to develop a persuasive win theme and deliver content for the client’s needs.
• Synthesize complex information into compelling written responses and edit content to match brand voice and professional style.
• Coach project teams on presentation best practices to support winning in interviews.
• Support ROI goals and BD framework by identifying RAM and adhering to strong process management.
• Record project and people information in the firm's database to ensure institutional knowledge.
• Develop knowledge base with industry research and market sector expertise to inform win strategies and add value.
