Job summary

DLR Group is seeking a Proposal Specialist, Justice + Civic, to join our Marketing team in pursuing new work. The role focuses on writing project narratives, bios, and resumes, building tailored content for sector pursuits, and ensuring brand-standard compliant deliverables from RFP receipt through interviews with some team collaboration across designers, engineers, and planners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience creating, writing, and editing proposals in a professional services environment, preferably the AEC industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign; proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including PowerPoint and Teams; familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint (preferred).
• Eligibility to work in the United States without needing a work visa or residency sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage individual pursuits to on-time, compliant delivery with some oversight.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary pursuit team to write and produce content in brand voice and style.
• Support shortlists and win-rate goals with quality execution.
• Record project and people information in Vision to ensure institutional knowledge.
• Perform comprehensive quality control checks on materials.
• Develop and maintain an up-to-date library of on-brand pursuit materials to facilitate workflows.
