Job summary

Arcadis seeks a self-starting Project Civil/Environmental Engineer to support a growing portfolio across the United States. You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, project managers, and technical experts on civil design and environmental permitting for diverse projects in energy, industrial, and transportation sectors.

The role emphasizes office-based work with occasional field assignments, client meetings, and travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering or closely related field.
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
Fluent with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, or other terrain modeling design software.
Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (e.g., HydroCAD, WinTR-55, PondPack, HEC-RAS).

Responsibilities

Develop engineering designs for permitting or construction permits.
Manage civil or environmental engineering projects including land development and related planning.
Analyze technical documents to support design development.
Review regulations, permitting requirements and standards for project compliance.
Travel up to 15% and conduct field assignments as needed.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
