EXP is seeking a Project Accountant (Hybrid) to support project teams with contracts, budgeting and invoicing. You will set up projects in Deltek, manage budgets, generate monthly Project Progress Reports and coordinate invoices and variances with PMs and sector leads.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Accounting with at least 5 years in AP/AR/Billing for an engineering firm, understand revenue recognition, and are proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting (AP/AR/Billing) in an engineering firm.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with PMs and Sector Leads on contracts, changes and approvals.
• Set up/review/activate projects in Deltek and maintain budgets.
• Close out projects upon completion.
• Prepare and send invoices with backup.
• Create monthly Project Progress Reports and review with PMs.
• Investigate variances and report to management.
• Coordinate with cash receipts to reconcile variances.
• Prepare information for internal/external audits.
• Obtain paperwork to set up new vendors.
• Review vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Coordinate with local offices.
