Job summary

EXP is hiring a Junior Project Accountant (Hybrid) to join the Finance Operations team within the Shared Services Sector. You will collaborate with Project Managers and Sector Leads on contract documents, change orders, and project modifications while managing budgets and invoicing for a portfolio of projects.

The role requires a BS in Accounting and 2–4 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on revenue recognition and detail-oriented work ethic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 2–4 years accounting experience (AP/AR/Billing) for an engineering firm.
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize invoices for billable projects with backups.
• Set up and review projects in Deltek; maintain project budgets.
• Close out projects after completion and prepare monthly reports for PMs.
• Reconcile variances with cash team and support internal audits.
