Job summary

EXP is seeking a Project Accountant in a hybrid role based in Orlando, FL. You will work with Project Managers and Sector Leads to manage contracts, modify orders, and prepare invoices with supporting documentation.

The candidate should have a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and at least 5 years of accounting experience in an engineering firm, with strong revenue recognition skills and proficiency in Deltek Vision or Vantage Point.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting required.
• Minimum 5 years in AP/AR/Billing for an engineering firm.
• Strong revenue recognition understanding.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Deltek Vision or Vantage Point experience a definite asset.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Project Managers and Sector Leads on contracts and modifications.
• Set up and review projects in Deltek; maintain project budgets.
• Close out projects upon completion and prepare invoices with backups.
• Prepare monthly Project Progress Reports and discuss with PMs.
• Assist with audits and vendor/invoice processes.
