Job summary

Northeast Residence Inc. seeks a Program Director to oversee operations for multiple community-based residential programs serving adults with developmental disabilities.

The role drives program management, financial oversight, property coordination, staff supervision, and stakeholder relations aligned with Hammer’s person-centered philosophy. The Director reports to senior leadership, supervises Program Managers, and ensures adherence to regulatory standards, budget goals, and quality of care

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in social services or related field.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and coach a diverse program team.
• Comprehensive knowledge of licensing regulations and funding mechanisms.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of 5–10 community-based residential programs.
• Lead and mentor Program Managers and direct care staff.
• Develop agendas for Director and Program Manager meetings.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely program documentation.
• Participate in budgeting and resource planning.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents per policy.
