Job summary

Cooperative for Human Services Inc. seeks a Program Director to lead a residential program, supervising the Assistant Program Director and Direct Support staff, and ensuring high-quality, person-centered services.

You will oversee operations including staffing, clinical coordination, medication administration systems, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and healthcare coordination, while communicating with families, guardians, providers, and regulatory agencies to maintain excellent care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field with at least one year in social/human services.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for broader clinical and supervisory responsibilities.
• Minimum one year of supervisory or management experience.
• PABC Certification required for behavioral management.
• High school diploma with four years of experience in developmental disabilities services.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of an assigned residential program.
• Supervise the Assistant Program Director and Direct Support staff; manage staffing patterns.
• Develop and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and monitor progress toward goals.
• Oversee medication administration systems and coordinate healthcare services.
• Ensure compliance with CHS policies and all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Contribute to program budgeting, funds management, and reporting.
• Engage families, guardians, providers, and community stakeholders to support inclusion.
