Job summary

Markit North America, Inc. is seeking a Product Specialist, IT Service Operations to provide clients with expert support and consultancy on software and data issues.

You will help regulated financial clients process corporate actions events accurately and in a timely manner. You will collaborate with product engineering, business analysis and DBA teams to resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive controls while ensuring compliant processing and minimizing operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/engineering with 5 years IT operations experience.
• 5 years experience includes corporate actions lifecycle, entitlements and payments.
• Experience with SWIFT ISO 15022 and/or ISO 20022 CA messages.
• SQL for incident analysis, reporting, metrics and reconciliation.
• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases and processes.
• Knowledge of Incident/Problem/Change processes and SSO provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and consultancy to clients for software and data issues.
• Ensure accurate processing of corporate actions events impacting entitlements and regulatory reporting.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate remediation with engineering teams.
• Implement preventive controls to avoid recurrence and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with clients, product engineering, business analysis and DBAs to resolve issues.
