Job summary

Markit North America, Inc. seeks a Specialist, IT Service Operations to provide advanced support for corporate actions software and client inquiries. You will log and manage incidents in JIRA, coordinate with Engineering and Cloud teams, and help translate business needs into technical specifications.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field and 2+ years of IT operations experience, including cloud and multi-tenant SaaS environments. Hybrid work schedule in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related IT field.
• 2+ years IT operations or related experience with corporate actions knowledge.
• Experience interpreting SWIFT CA messages (ISO 15022/20022) and their key fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for resolution of corporate actions software and data issues for regulated clients.
• Log, track, and manage incidents in JIRA with audit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, Cloud/SRE, product, data, and customer experience teams to define scope and success criteria.
• Lead end-to-end requirements lifecycle from business objectives to technical specs and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze system dependencies, data flows, and integration impacts; document constraints and edge cases.
• Support system validation, configuration testing, post-deployment monitoring, and documentation updates.
