Relias in Morrisville, NC seeks a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate payroll processing and strong controls. You will validate inputs, reconcile data, and protect confidential information while collaborating with HR, Accounting, Tax, and external providers.

Off-cycle processing, funding, and year-end activities are part of the role; the team supports a flexible hybrid work environment with onsite and remote options. NC residency is preferred for in-office collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of payroll processing or payroll administration experience.
• Experience with payroll controls, confidential employee data and reconciliations or audit-ready documentation.
• Experience researching payroll discrepancies and coordinating resolution with HR, Accounting, employees or external providers.
• Knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing, including earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, timekeeping, and year-end activity.
• Ability to validate vendor master-data requests, tax documentation, sanctions screening, and banking/remittance changes.

• Process scheduled and off-cycle payrolls with accuracy and timeliness.
• Review time records and HR changes for completeness and payroll impact.
• Validate payroll registers, variances, and tax jurisdictions; document review evidence.
• Prepare payroll funding, reports, and supporting records for manager review.
• Research payroll errors and coordinate resolution with HR, Accounting, or external providers.
• Support year-end reporting and compliance with HR, Accounting, Tax, auditors, and providers.
