Relias US is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage day-to-day AP and travel/expense transactions in a hybrid role based near Morrisville, NC. You will support invoice processing, payments, and period-end reconciliations while protecting confidential data and collaborating with Accounting and suppliers.

The role requires 2+ years of AP or expense processing experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with a flexible work environment and strong

Qualifications

• Knowledge of full‑cycle accounts payable, invoice processing, and supplier inquiries.
• Experience with accruals, reconciliations, and audit-ready support documentation.
• Ability to manage deadlines and protect confidential information.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Process and code supplier invoices and direct-entry transactions, validate approvals and due dates.
• Resolve routine invoice workflow issues and assist with payments and disbursement controls.
• Review expense reports and reimbursements, and support policy compliance.
• Perform period-end reconciliations and assist with 1099 and unclaimed property tasks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and respond to supplier or employee inquiries.
