Jobot is seeking a Payroll & HR Generalist to join our hybrid team in a manufacturing setting. You will manage multi-site payroll updates and benefits administration, while serving as a key HR contact for policy guidance and regulatory compliance.

The role combines on-site collaboration with remote work, offering benefits such as medical/dental/vision, a bonus program, 401k, and PTO. You will partner with leadership to drive HR initiatives and support performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in multi-site payroll management and benefits administration.
• In-depth knowledge of COBRA regulations and the open enrollment process.
• Familiarity with HR software and payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire payroll process for multiple sites, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates.
• Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and changes, ensuring compliance.
• Coordinate the open enrollment process, providing information and support to employees.
• Manage COBRA administration, ensuring eligible employees are offered coverage as required by law.
• Maintain relationships with benefit providers and update carriers as needed.
• Respond to HR-related inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Support management in performance management, discipline, and termination procedures.
• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring HR regulations and maintaining records.
