• Discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Payroll & HR Generalist to join our team. This is a hybrid position where you will be working both remotely and on-site. You will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing industry, handling multi-site payroll and benefits administration while also serving as a key point of contact for all HR-related queries. Your role will be vital in ensuring our company's compliance with all regulatory standards and fostering a healthy and positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the entire payroll process for multiple sites, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
2. Oversee benefits administration, including employee enrollments, terminations, and changes to benefits, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
3. Coordinate the open enrollment process, providing necessary information and support to employees.
4. Manage COBRA administration, ensuring all eligible employees are offered coverage as required by law.
5. Maintain relationships with benefit providers and ensure timely updates to carriers as needed.
6. Respond to HR-related inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
7. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
8. Support the management team in handling performance management, discipline, and termination procedures.
9. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in multi-site payroll management and benefits administration.
4. In-depth knowledge of COBRA regulations and the open enrollment process.
5. Familiarity with HR software and payroll systems.
6. Strong understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
9. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
