Job summary

You will manage appointment scheduling, patient coordination in NextGen EHR, portal enrollment, insurance questions, and reminders, while upholding HIPAA privacy and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a fast-paced English-speaking call center serving U.S. healthcare practices
• Excellent spoken and written English with a professional communication style
• Strict adherence to HIPAA privacy and security standards
• Ability to explain scheduling and insurance information to patients
• Strong listening and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with U.S. insurance types is a plus

Responsibilities

• Schedule medical, surgical, and cosmetic appointments according to provider protocols
• Identify visits needing prior authorization or referrals and notify staff
• Coordinate patient demographics in the NextGen EHR
• Assist patients with portal enrollment and navigation
• Communicate with patients via phone, text, and portal messages
• Answer basic questions about schedules, billing, and referrals
• Support recall efforts and cross-team issue resolution
• Escalate complex patient concerns appropriately
