Job summary

Core Dermatology is seeking an experienced Patient Services Specialist to join our team. This on-site, full-time position focuses on delivering exceptional patient experiences and seamless administrative support in a dermatology office.

You will greet and assist patients, manage scheduling across multiple locations, verify insurance, collect payments, and maintain accurate demographic and billing data while upholding HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical office and/or hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct, instruct and schedule patients, clients and visitors.
• Assist patients in scheduling appointments for multiple providers across various locations.
• Verify patients’ insurance coverage electronically.
• Collect patient payments and post billing data.
• Enter daily billing information after appointments.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Provide excellent customer service by phone and in person.
