Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Proficiency with MS Word, email, and Windows-based data entry.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems and work under pressure in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments related to treatment and referrals, coordinating with other departments to optimize flow.
• Interact with patients, families, providers and staff to identify needs and resolve issues.
• Update patient contact and demographic information in EHR systems as needed.
• Communicate scheduling needs with providers and other teams, escalating when required.
• Prioritize scheduling requests and triage urgent cases as needed.
• Support department operations and participate in cross-cover or special projects.
