Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• Proficient in MS Word, email, and data entry in a Windows-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments related to treatment within Fred Hutch as well as outside consults and referrals.
• Coordinates scheduling with other departments to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Works with patients, families, visitors, providers, and staff to identify needs and follow up.
• Updates patient and caregiver contact information in EHR when needed.
• Communicates with providers, technologists, and nurses regarding scheduling needs and requests.
• Manages and prioritizes scheduling requests.
• Triages calls from referring physicians, patients, and others seeking care.
