Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in MS Word, email, and data entry.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems and work under pressure.
• Experience with Epic or scheduling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all patient appointments and coordinate with departments.
• Work with patients, families, providers to identify needs and resolve problems.
• Update patient and caregiver contact info in EHR.
• Communicate with providers and staff about scheduling and requests.
• Manage and prioritize scheduling requests.
• Triages calls from referring physicians, patients, and others.
• Assist with training of new staff and cross-coverage as needed.
• Support department functions and special projects.
