Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with optical lab instruments and characterization methods.
• Experience testing/characterizing optical transceivers and co-packaged optics.
• Knowledge of SerDes electrical interfaces and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Validate and characterize optical SerDes link functionality against design targets and datasheets.
• Troubleshoot optical link issues with internal/external teams and drive root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects and design engineers to validate optical modules and interfaces.
• Ensure optical link performance metrics (extinction ratio, TDECQ, eye/BER) meet standards.
• Develop test automations to improve data analysis efficiency.
