Job summary

Ayar Labs, Inc. in San Jose on-site is seeking a System validation expert to spearhead validation efforts for high-speed optical chiplet products, ensuring performance meets component and system requirements.

You will lead validation strategy, drive product bring-up with design engineering, perform SI/eye analysis on SerDes, author customer-facing reports, and develop test software and infrastructure to enable mass production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with component and system test equipment (BERT, DCA, OSA) and signal quality metrics (TDECQ, SRS, URS).
• 5+ years of Python programming for test automation and data analysis.
• Deep understanding of Ethernet, PCIe and related standards.
• Experience with SoC validation planning, bring-up, debugging, and optimization.
• Experience with high-speed SerDes and characterization.

Responsibilities

• Lead Validation Strategy and test plan development for high-speed photonics.
• Drive product bring-up with silicon photonic and laser products.
• Validate component and system performance via high-speed SI and eye analysis.
• Lead New Product Introduction and bench characterization.
• Deliver customer-facing validation reports.
• Develop test software and infrastructure.
